Since the last news update, we have:
a) Continued with our twice monthly litter picks :
4 volunteers met at The Honey Bee on Wednesday 1st November. We covered Altrincham Road and the surrounding area ,collecting 7 bags and a large plastic cover. We also found two weighty blue canisters of ‘Miami Infusions’, which was labelled as nitrous oxide on the reverse!
5 volunteers met, at the Parish Hall, on a drizzly morning, on Saturday 5th November. We covered the surrounding area including The Carrs, Chancel Lane, Church Street, Manchester Road, Cliff Lane, Styal Road and Lacey Green. We collected at least 7 bags.

b) Continued with our solo picks.
c) Reported the fly tipping of a large sofa, on Park Road, to ANSA.
d) Renewed our annual insurance.
e) Held a committee meeting.
f) Submitted an order for a litter picking trolley:

g) Updated the list of our co-sponsors on the Website
h) Thanked ANSA for responding to our request to replace the burnt out litter bin at the corner of Leaside Way and the (A538) Prestbury Link Road.
i) Collated some photos (thanks Stuart) of some food packaging recycling facilities in Wilmslow:



5 volunteers met at The Honey Bee on Saturday 7th May. We covered Altrincham Road and the area around the airport tunnels. We collected around 6 bags and some debris
6 volunteers met at Summerfields on Saturday 5th March. We covered the surrounding area including Colshaw Drive and Kingsbury Drive. This area is a litter hot spot and we collected a big haul of 13 bags.
iv) Reviewed our “co-sponsor” initiative which is going very well – you may have seen our window stickers appearing in the town.
