Since the last news update, we have:
a) Continued with our twice monthly litter picks :
3 volunteers met at Lacey Green Park on a wet morning on Wednesday 5th April.
The pick was very local to the meeting point on Barlow Rd – including Lacey Green (Road), Lacey Green Park and the litter strewn
area by the front Twinnies Road shops. There is still a lot of uncollected litter at the side of the shops which remains uncollected. 4 very full bags were collected,
8 volunteers were litter picking on Saturday 8th April – either as part of the planned Bank Square event or on a solo pick.
We focussed on the town centre and collected 12 bags and some recyclables.

b) Continued with our solo picks.
c) Liaised with 1st Wilmslow Scouts who are looking to include litter picking as a volunteering experience for the cubs in May
d) Liaised with at 4th Wilmslow Scouts who want to do a litter pick around the High school and the passageway at the back (known as (scaly alley).
