During one of our July litter picks, we were invovled in the rescue of a trapped hedgehog.
Michelle and Rebecca, who kindly volunteer their time as part of a community initiative by the Yorkshire Building Society, found a hedgehog that was ensnared in the cricket nets at Wilmslow Leisure Centre. They reported the problem to the Leisure Centre whose staff came out to cut the net and free the poor hedgehog.
One of 
the Leisure Centre customers kindly took the hedgehog to wildlife centre in Alderley Edge for recovery.
